Editorial Policy
Effective date: October 5, 2026
Cute Monkey is committed to publishing honest, respectful and family-friendly wildlife content. This policy explains how we create, check and correct our content.
1. Who creates the content
All content is created, reviewed and approved by Heab Hak, owner and editor of Cute Monkey.
2. Authenticity
- We only publish real footage of real animals.
- We never stage scenes, add fake sounds to mislead viewers, or use editing to change what actually happened.
- If we use AI tools to help with writing, translation or editing, a person reviews everything before it is published, and we never use AI to create fake animal footage presented as real. (Delete this point if you don’t use AI tools.)
3. Animal welfare first
- We film from a respectful distance.
- We never feed, touch, chase, trap, tease, dress up or provoke animals for content.
- We do not publish, buy or share content where animals appear to have been harmed, mistreated or put in distress on purpose to create a video.
- We don’t use titles or thumbnails that make animal suffering look entertaining.
- We do not promote the pet monkey trade.
4. Honest titles and thumbnails
Our titles, descriptions and thumbnails match what actually happens in the video. We avoid misleading clickbait, false claims and exaggerated captions designed to trick people into clicking.
5. Accuracy
When we explain monkey behavior, we use reliable sources such as wildlife experts, research and our own direct observation. If we’re not sure about something, we say so.
6. Original content and credit
We publish our own original content. If we ever use someone else’s material, we only do so with permission and with clear credit.
7. Advertising and sponsorships
Ads do not influence our editorial decisions. Any sponsored content or paid partnership will be clearly labeled as “Sponsored” or “Paid Partnership”.
8. Family-friendly standards
Our content is suitable for all ages. We don’t publish violent, graphic, sexual, hateful or shocking material.
9. Corrections
If we make a mistake, we fix it quickly. Report an error at heabhak@gmail.com and include the page link and details. Significant corrections will be noted on the updated post.
10. Comments
We welcome respectful comments. We remove spam, hate speech, harassment, misinformation and any comment that encourages harm to animals.
