A baby monkey gets a full morning routine on camera: a wash in the kitchen sink, a soft outfit pulled over its head, and fresh fruit handed over piece by piece at the table. It’s a quiet, homey scene that plays out step by step, and every part of it is shot in the filmmaker’s own kitchen and dining room.

How does the bath happen?

The video opens with the monkey held gently over a small basin in the kitchen sink. A woman in a striped shirt supports the baby with one hand while rinsing it under running water, with a green bucket and a bottle of baby wash sitting on the counter nearby. The monkey looks tiny against the sink, not much bigger than a house cat’s paw, and stays still while she works the water over its fur.

What happens after the bath?

Once dry, the baby monkey is dressed at the dining table, which is covered with a gray-and-white striped towel for padding. A woman in a pink shirt pulls a yellow patterned outfit over its head and arms while it sits upright, bracing itself with small hands on the towel. A basket of fruit — mangoes and bananas — sits just behind them on the table throughout.

What does the baby monkey eat?

Later, dressed in a bright yellow-green top, the monkey is handed a peeled banana. It grips the fruit with both hands and brings it to its mouth, eating from a hand that’s still holding the peel steady. A wider bowl of watermelon, papaya, bananas, and an apple sits in the background, giving a sense of the spread laid out for the day.

The video’s title mentions bathing a baby swan, but what the footage actually shows, start to finish, is this same young monkey being washed, dressed, and fed.
