That is the whole scene, and it plays out slowly, gently, and with a young girl helping every step of the way.

Where does the bath happen?

The washing takes place outside, on a shaded patio with a bare dirt yard, a low garden wall, and a couple of small plastic chairs sized for a child. A large stainless steel bowl, about the size you would use to mix a big batch of bread dough, sits inside a smaller pink plastic tub or on a stool. That bowl becomes the bathtub for the little monkey.

What does the bathing look like?

A baby monkey curls in a metal bowl beside a bottle of pink baby bath soap

The monkey is small enough to fit almost entirely inside the metal bowl, curled up with its arms braced against the sides. A bottle of pink baby bath soap sits close by, and at one point a hand works the lather over the monkey’s wet fur, cupping its head and gently massaging along its back and shoulders while it holds still in the water.

Nearby, a young girl in a light green top sits close to the action, watching carefully. She seems just as invested in the process as the person doing the washing, keeping her eyes on the monkey through the whole routine.

What happens after the bath?

Once the washing is done, the monkey is lifted out and wrapped in a soft gray-and-white striped towel. The girl ends up cradling the small, toweled bundle in her lap while sitting in one of the little chairs, holding it the way you might hold a sleepy house cat fresh out of a warm blanket.

A baby monkey gets its bath time in a large metal bowl, soaped up with pink baby wash, then wrapped snug in a towel while a young girl watches close by.

[9
50,10,40,12,24
post-303","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-adorable-baby-monkey","tag-animal-grooming","tag-baby-monkey","tag-bath-time","tag-monkey-care","tag-pet-monkey
["GET
